LE PRESBYTERE, HOME OF THE GOOD LIFE!
"My husband and I are hugely passionate about hotels and everything related to restoration. So it was a natural decision to open up a guesthouse. We bought this building four years ago. It was once used to store machinery. We started the restoration with the actual presbytery, for us to live in, then the second phase consisted of building the guestrooms. Our goal? To 'entertain' according to true Picard tradition. For our guests, we wanted the house to be comfortable, simply furnished and filled with the objects we love: carafes hunted in flea markers, a Banania side table, a really old Godin stove from nearby Thiérache, another pride of Picardy. In the future, we'd love to create a little restaurant, close to the house, to entertain our guests even better. Sharing a good meal is a priority for us!”
