"It was a romance that led me to Picardy 15 years ago. I was living in the Netherlands at the time. Since then my life has been here in Amiens and around. It's a destination that I really advise visitors to check out. There's something here for everybody, whatever their age: the great outdoors, gardens, culture, history, an amazing coastline - and the Picard folk are definitely one of the star attractions! They have a flair for hospitality. Visitors will love staying in their guestrooms, which are just lovely. That makes all the difference. In the fifteen years I've lived here, I've seen Picardy change. Amiens, for example, has become a magnificent city. The Dutch really enjoy Picardy because they like to take their time, stop off and enjoy the countryside, visit different things, head further afield - and that's a way of life that you'll only find here!”
