"We give our strawberries as much time as they need. You can't force nature, but, from July 14, it's all over. Our guesthouse rooms then take up the baton; they also mean that I get to see other people. I like what I do because of the contact involved. We have another project: developing a natural campsite. We're planting small wild hedges to divide up the plots and also a few trees to provide shade and scenery. I see the campsite as a place of great freedom - take the positioning of holidaymakers, for example. If they want to angle the opening of their caravan or tent to the west or east, they'll be able to do whatever they like. Or if they prefer a place at the back to one in the middle, I'd do my best to satisfy them. I want holidaymakers to feel at home on the farm in a simple and honest family atmosphere."
