"Originally from Picardy, I criss-cross our beautiful region because of my work. New horizons appear each time I cross it. A surprise around each bend. Our region is extremely diverse. The Picardian plateau gives way to Pays de Bray while heading towards the south-west; the forests of Chantilly and Senlis are mirrored by those of Compiègne and then Saint-Gobain in the east.
One September evening I almost died of fright in one of these forests. Striding across a field alongside large oaks, I was frozen by the unusual cry of the forest's king. Nobody can remain insensitive to the majestic stag, an emblem of nature."
