Prix de Diane Hermès - Chantilly
On 6/17/2012
At the foot of the Grand Stables of the Princes of Condé, the Prix de Diane Hermès is awarded to the best three-year-old filly, and horse racing fans gather for a stylish picnic that is famous around the world. Created in 1843, this prize is also known as "French Oaks" by the British and is an international race.
Each year, a different look
The gates of the Garden of Diane finally open; the impatient crowd streams through and is thrilled to discover a new setting.
The picnic: an essential tradition
Tablecloths are spread all around the lawn; seen from the sky, a patchwork of colour has replaced the Gardens of Diane. Everything is unpacked from the wicker picnic basket to prepare for a joyous meal together. Didn't have time to prepare your basket? Don't worry, ready-made baskets are sold on the site. Of course, how clever!
A stylish country atmosphere
Women have always worn a veritable parade of different hats: original, rustic, discreet or extravagant, each one has her style. The charm of these fashionable women blends harmoniously with the thrilling world of horse racing for those who love excitement. And excitement grows throughout the day. We bet on our "favourite," we follow the race, our hands tighten their grip, our pulse accelerates and, above all, we keep an eye on the finish line...
A thrilling day in a stylish setting is waiting for you!
